Bad week for the old folks...

I went to a wake last week. A friend called me Monday because he found out he has to fly out to Chicago to go to an uncle’s funeral this week and the same day I got the news someone else in the family passed - so there’s another wake and a funeral this week.

I don’t feel older but when I was at the wake last week, I was talking to a cousin’s kid (and her husband) who just had their seecond child!!! This relagates me to a generation of grandparents?!?!?!

Stop the clock!

Also, it’s unfortunate because the people who are passing are part of a unique generation and they will be missed.
